Client Service Supervisor
About The Position
BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a Client Service Supervisor to join its team in Tukwila, Washington. The Client Service Supervisor guides the daily activities of the Client Services Team under the direction of the Client Services Manager. The role helps coordinate communication between Client Services and other hospital areas so interdepartmental activity runs smoothly, and provides management coverage for the Client Services department during the shift in the Client Services Manager’s absence. The supervisor ensures issues are addressed by the appropriate people and that services are seamless throughout each client and patient visit.
Requirements
- Possess unrestricted, current authorization to work in the United States.
- Not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.
Responsibilities
- Plan, monitor, and ensure completion of the initial training program for new Client Service associates.
- Guide the Client Service Team Leader in cost-effective scheduling of Client Service associates to provide sufficient staffing for each shift.
- Serve as a member of the management team and as a link between clients, patients, and caregivers.
- Provide feedback to co-managers about issues that may result in dissatisfied clients.
- Communicate with Client Service associates individually and in groups about new ideas, protocol and policy changes, impending changes, and ongoing feedback.
- Coach Client Service associates to anticipate and address client service needs and to seek assistance with escalated or stressful situations.
- Plan and conduct regularly scheduled team meetings.
- Identify ways to improve client service through training opportunities, input from Client Service Coordinators, and feedback from doctors and management.
- Meet with clients to discuss concerns and questions about services provided.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
