Requirements

  • Previous customer service or office experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and their pets with warmth, professionalism, and a friendly attitude
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients in person and by phone
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to client questions
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate the hospital calendar
  • Help manage client inquiries and route medical concerns appropriately
  • Check clients and patients in and out for appointments
  • Maintain accurate client and patient records
  • Update information within the hospital’s practice management system
  • Assist with billing and payment processes
  • Help coordinate veterinary services, procedures, and follow-up needs
  • Communicate hospital policies, scheduling information, and service details clearly
  • Support veterinarians, technicians, and assistants as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and patient information
  • Help manage client expectations during busy or stressful situations
  • Provide empathetic support during sensitive or emotional conversations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Support teammates and contribute to an efficient front-desk workflow
  • Help create a positive experience for every client and patient
