Client Service Representative, Overnight
About The Position
Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (GCVS) is seeking an experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative for an overnight position. GCVS is a leader in specialized care for companion animals, known for excellence and collaboration with the veterinary community. Our state-of-the-art facility and expert team provide top-tier care across a range of specialties, including emergency, cardiology, oncology, neurology, surgery, and more. As a Client Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting our emergency, critical care, and specialty departments while serving as the first point of contact for clients and patients. In this fast-paced environment, you will help create a welcoming and compassionate experience for pet owners, coordinate patient admissions and discharges, manage client communications, schedule appointments, process financial transactions, and support the flow of information between clients and the medical team.
Requirements
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills, ensuring our clients and referring veterinarians feel valued and supported.
- Ability to multitask and navigate unexpected situations with ease.
- Ability to provide outstanding service and build positive relationships.
- Ability to adapt to situations where protocols may not apply and handle unanticipated tasks with grace.
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required.

- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Inform clients and referring veterinarians about our comprehensive services and provide compassionate support over the phone and in person.
- Assist clients in scheduling appointments at our multi-specialist hospital, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
- Handle reminder and follow-up communications with finesse, utilizing both phone and email to keep clients informed and engaged.
- Accurately update and maintain client/pet records and files, ensuring a meticulous approach to detail.
