About The Position

Holmes Murphy Client Service Internship – Summer 2027 in Waukee, IA (Onsite). This 10-week summer program offers an immersive, hands-on experience in the insurance industry. Interns will gain insights into operations through educational workshops, explore various career paths by rotating through different lines of business, hone communication skills through presentations, network with industry experts and leaders for mentorship, and connect with the community through company activities. The Client Service Team focuses on client retention and satisfaction.

Requirements

Currently enrolled or in pursuit of enrollment at a 4-year institution.
Prior work experience is a plus, preferably in a customer service or administrative role.

Responsibilities

Assisting in managing existing client relationships
Handling day-to-day service needs
Assisting in ensuring clients receive timely and accurate information
Assisting the sales and services teams with marketing of new and renewal business to include gathering needed information
Assisting the sales and service teams with preparation & creation of materials for presentations
Attending client meetings
Assisting in supporting the sales team by delivering on agreements made during the sales process
Additional duties as assigned
