About The Position

California Bank & Trust is seeking a customer-focused, full-time Client Service Associate (Teller) for its Palmdale, California branch. The role serves as a face of the branch, providing personal service and helping clients with their everyday banking needs. The associate may be reassigned, with proper notice, to another branch within a reasonable distance of up to 30 miles, depending on business needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 6 months of cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience, or successful completion of company-approved training.
Working knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
Solid balancing and customer service skills.
Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients' needs.

Responsibilities

Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
Identify and address client needs by providing services such as opening accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing or activating ATM cards, making money transfers, ordering checks, and receiving loan payments.
Resolve client problems through direct action or referral to other branch or bank resources.
Identify and maximize cross-sell opportunities by exploring client needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work at an alternate branch within 30 miles when business needs require, with proper notice.
