About The Position
The Echo Trailblazers internship provides confidence, community, and communication skills to forge a new path in the dynamic world of transportation. As a member of the Echo Global Logistics team, interns will work on real-world projects, learn from logistics experts, and contribute to simplifying transportation for clients and carriers. This internship offers a comprehensive learning experience in the logistics industry and the sales process, preparing interns to become successful sales representatives. The company fosters a passionate and driven sales force in the 3PL space, focusing on providing solutions and solving problems for clients' diverse shipping needs.
Requirements
- Must be able to start May 24, 2027 and complete the entire 10 week program
- Currently enrolled at a university as a rising senior, with at least one semester remaining after completion of internship
- Able to work in our Detroit office 4 days and hybrid 1 day a week
- No major or GPA requirements
- Passion for Logistics: A keen interest and willingness to learn and try new things
- Possess a can-do attitude and believes anything is possible with the right focus
- Be organized, professional, and coachable with strong problem solving, communication, time management, and project management skills
- Team Player: Willingness to collaborate and support the team in various ways
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and manage account relationships
- Profile and analyze accounts to overcome any objections and generate quality opportunities
- Present the value of Echo’s services to prospective and existing clients
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure world class customer service on every shipment
- Work in conjunction with teammates to prioritize and service customers in a timely fashion
- Monitor progress of shipments to ensure coverage, on-time performance and the resolution of any mid-transit issues
