The Client Relations Specialist is the clients (both pet owners and referring veterinarians) first impression of the practice, on the phone or in person, making it a critical role in our hospital.

Client Relations Specialists must possess excellent telephone and in-person client service and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced and team-oriented environment.
The ability to handle multiple tasks at once and a close attention to detail are required.
Strong organizational skills, team orientation, and computer experience are essential in the day to day functions of this role.
Candidates should have compassion for animals and their owners.
The Client Relations Specialist is the clients (both pet owners and referring veterinarians) first impression of the practice, on the phone or in person, making it a critical role in our hospital.
We are looking for Client Relations Specialists who are able to work a variety of shifts, including but not limited to; day, evening, or overnight shifts as well as weekends and holidays.

Prior experience within human medicine or a veterinary hospital is preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcoming clients (both human and furry) with compassion and professionalism
Collecting and entering important client and patient information for emergency visits
Assisting clients with financial options and paperwork
Answering phone calls and directing calls appropriately
Organizing medical records and ensuring accuracy
Supporting pet owners through difficult decisions, including euthanasia services
Recognizing STAT cases and notifying the medical team
