About The Position

The Summer Associate Program provides a 10-week experience within one of the business areas represented in the full-time Client & Product Track. This track is a two-year rotational experience that provides exposure to multiple client, product, marketing, and business functions through rotational assignments and professional development opportunities. High-performing Summer Associates may be considered for conversion into the full-time Client & Product Track of the Capital Group Rotational Program upon graduation. As a Client & Product Summer Associate, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting one of the teams that helps connect Capital Group's investment capabilities with clients and drive business growth. Through meaningful work, coaching, mentorship, and collaboration with professionals across the firm, you'll strengthen your analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills while developing a deeper understanding of the investment management industry.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0, 3.75/5.0, or equivalent
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
  • Relationship-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and excited to help connect Capital Group's investment capabilities with client needs and business objectives.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Intellectual curiosity, learning agility, and a commitment to continuous growth and development

Responsibilities

  • Support client engagement, business development, relationship management, and client service initiatives
  • Contribute to strategic planning, business operations, organizational effectiveness, and execution of key priorities
  • Support product positioning, competitive analysis, market insights, and long-term product strategy
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns, client communications, content development, events, and brand initiatives
  • Leverage research, business intelligence, and data analysis to support decision-making and business outcomes
  • Help develop the tools, resources, processes, and capabilities that enable teams to serve clients effectively
  • Support teams that drive client engagement, product development, and business growth across the firm
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, conduct market, product, and client research, analyze business trends and insights, develop recommendations for stakeholders, and support activities that help enhance client experiences and drive business growth.
