About The Position

The Summer Associate Program provides experience within one of the business areas represented in the full-time Business & Operations Track, a two-year rotational experience that provides exposure to multiple business functions through rotational assignments and professional development opportunities. High-performing Summer Associates may be considered for conversion into the full-time Business & Operations Track of the Capital Group Rotational Program upon graduation.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor's with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0, 3.75/5.0, or equivalent
Authorization to work in the United States of without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
Intellectual curiosity, learning agility, and a commitment to continuous growth and development
Ability to navigate ambiguity and approach complex challenges thoughtfully
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong working relationships
Attention to detail, organization, and execution
Initiative, accountability, and a willingness to take ownership
Comfort working with data and using quantitative information to support decision-making
A focus on delivering high-quality outcomes and positive experiences for clients, business partners, and colleagues

Responsibilities

Summer Associates are placed on a specific team for the duration of the program, providing meaningful experience within a particular business area.
Opportunities may be available in areas such as: Investment Operations: Support trade processing, data management, reporting, and operational controls that enable the investment process and client outcomes
Investment Enablement: Partner with investment teams through project management, business analysis, operational support, and process improvement initiatives
Global Business Services: Contribute to functions such as Finance, Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, Procurement, Enterprise Services, Workplace Experience, Communications, and other teams that support Capital Group's operations and strategic priorities
Additional Business & Operations Functions: Support teams that drive operational excellence, business effectiveness, and enterprise outcomes across Capital Group
Across these teams, Summer Associates may contribute to strategic initiatives, analyze data and business challenges, develop recommendations, identify opportunities to improve business processes, and collaborate across functions to support Capital Group's priorities.
Summer Associates also participate in professional development and networking opportunities throughout the program.
