About The Position

Emphasys PHA, a division of Emphasys, develops and supports industry-leading software for Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) across the United States. Our solutions help PHAs manage operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver critical housing services. The Client Growth Executive role is responsible for expanding our footprint within the public housing sector, growing strategic client relationships, and helping housing agencies maximize the value of their investment in our solutions. This role involves developing trusted relationships, identifying growth opportunities, guiding prospects through the sales process, and assisting clients with evolving regulatory requirements and operational challenges. The position balances new business development, account expansion, and consultative client engagement, requiring proactive opportunity identification, compelling product demonstrations, support for RFP and proposal responses, and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the client journey.

Requirements

  • Public housing software and industry experience, including experience with Public Housing Authority (PHA) software, affordable housing organizations, government software solutions, public sector clients, or related regulated environments.
  • Experience in both selling software and supporting implementation activities.
  • Software implementation, onboarding programs, product rollouts, or change management initiatives experience.
  • Understanding of guiding clients from purchase through implementation, adoption, and long-term success.
  • Experience in software sales, account management, client success, implementation consulting, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Ability to build trust, uncover client needs, navigate complex buying processes, and grow long-term client relationships.
  • Skilled at asking thoughtful questions, understanding business challenges, and positioning solutions that create meaningful value.
  • Confident leading discovery conversations, product demonstrations, proposals, and presentations with both operational and executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to develop rapport and trust with clients, colleagues, and partners.
  • Clear and professional communication style adaptable to different audiences.
  • Growth mindset, curiosity, resourcefulness, and energy for change.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business and expand market presence by identifying, qualifying, and pursuing opportunities with Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) and related organizations.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients, uncover business needs, and guide opportunities through the sales cycle using industry knowledge, referrals, networking, trade shows, and outbound prospecting.
  • Grow and strengthen client partnerships by acting as a trusted advisor to existing clients, understanding their operational challenges, compliance requirements, and strategic priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand product adoption, introduce additional solutions and services, and strengthen long-term client relationships.
  • Lead consultative sales and solution development by facilitating discovery conversations, delivering product demonstrations, preparing proposals and RFP responses.
  • Position software and professional services solutions that address client needs, helping clients navigate complex regulatory and operational challenges while articulating the value of Emphasys' offerings.
  • Apply implementation expertise to drive client success by supporting client transitions and professional services engagements, helping clients realize value quickly and building credibility and trust.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Professional Services, Product, Support, Marketing, and Development teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Maintain pipeline and account activity within the CRM, contribute to bookings growth, and represent Emphasys at industry events and customer engagements.
