About The Position

The 2027 Summer Internship Program at Schroders is a 9-week program designed to provide interns with a unique introduction to the Asset Management industry and insight into how their chosen department operates. The program runs from Monday, June 7th to Friday, August 6th. Interns will participate in comprehensive introductory training, be assigned to a team to contribute to live projects and gain hands-on experience, shadow experienced professionals, and have networking opportunities. This internship offers practical experience, skill development, and a strong foundation for those interested in a career in asset management marketing. The program is seeking ambitious, creative, and collaborative interns passionate about content, digital, and client-focused marketing, who are eager to learn, adaptable, and motivated to build a career in asset management marketing. Ideal candidates will have a blend of technical and soft skills and a desire to grow their marketing career in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Be in your Junior Year, graduating in 2028.
  • Have a good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Understand different types of marketing campaigns and content (such as articles, emails, and social posts).
  • Know the basics of audience targeting.
  • Be familiar with mainstream digital and social media platforms.
  • Be comfortable working with data, tracking key metrics, and learning from analytical insights.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail when reviewing content and materials.
  • Be proficient in using collaboration tools like Outlook, Teams, or SharePoint for team communication and coordination.
  • Work positively within diverse teams, contributing to shared objectives and building strong professional relationships.
  • Communicate ideas clearly and concisely, with the ability to adapt style for different audiences and situations, both in writing and verbally.
  • Bring fresh ideas, welcome opportunities to innovate, and volunteer suggestions for improvement.
  • Act ethically, respect confidentiality, and uphold the firm's values in all interactions.
