About The Position

At North Shore Pediatric Therapy, the Family Child Advocate (FCA) is the primary point of contact for families, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience. FCAs are responsible for managing schedules, addressing family needs, and acting as a liaison between families, therapists, and clinical directors. This role is crucial in maintaining the exceptional experience NSPT is known for, turning stressful situations into solutions and ensuring children receive the care they need. The position is full-time and based in Lake Bluff, IL, with approximately 50% of the time dedicated to community outreach and relationship building.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary support for families, handling schedule changes, questions, and updates.
  • Manage cancellations and proactively fill them to maintain smooth clinic schedules.
  • Make real-time adjustments to schedules and operations as needed.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Directors and therapists to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Maintain clinic organization, ensure necessary supplies are stocked, and oversee general efficiency.
  • Support local outreach initiatives, including engagement with schools, events, and community partners.
  • Coordinate and host tours for prospective families.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of center events and family engagement activities.
  • Manage the center's online reputation by encouraging reviews and testimonials, and following up with families.
  • Partner with leadership on marketing efforts.
  • Represent the center within the community.
