About The Position

The Client Executive is responsible for daily account servicing and client advisement, including handling inquiries, resolving discrepancies, maintaining agency management system data, and processing endorsements, audits, certificates of insurance, and auto ID cards. The position requires cultivating excellent communication and relationships with clients and insurance carriers, interacting professionally via email, phone, and in-person. A key responsibility is developing remarketing strategies based on client servicing standards and market changes. The role also manages the renewal process for an assigned book of business, involving preparation of pre-renewal summaries, creating renewal applications and submissions, online quoting, reviewing and negotiating terms, preparing final proposals, binding coverage, and issuing renewal documents. The Client Executive must be comfortable leading conference calls and in-person client meetings independently to discuss insurance strategies and business operations. Additionally, the role assists with onboarding and training new associates, serves as a mentor and subject matter expert for Client Advisors and Sr. Client Advisors, and provides technical expertise and strategic guidance to sales staff. The Client Executive may also develop and lead training sessions on insurance topics and participates in cross-selling new lines of coverage. Following up on accounts receivable is also a responsibility, along with attending education classes and study programs to expand technical coverage knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of similar or related experience.
  • Property and Casualty license required for state of business and must fulfill continuing education requirement to retain license.

Responsibilities

  • Daily account servicing and client advisement needs including but not limited to handling client and insurance company inquiries, resolving coverage and premium discrepancy issues, maintaining accurate account information in agency management system, processing of endorsements, audits, certificates of insurance, and auto ID cards, etc.
  • Cultivates and maintains excellent communication and relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
  • Develops remarketing strategy in accordance with client servicing standards and market changes.
  • Manages renewal process on assigned book of business including preparation of pre-renewal summary, creating renewal applications and submissions, online quoting via carrier rating platforms, reviewing quotes and negotiating terms and premiums, preparing final quotes and proposals for delivery to client, binding coverage, and issuing renewal invoices, certificates, auto ID cards, etc.
  • Leads conference calls and/or in-person client meetings independently of producer or manager to review insurance strategies and business operations.
  • Assists with the onboarding and training of new associates.
  • Serves as a mentor and subject matter expert by providing guidance to Client Advisors and Sr. Client Advisors regarding renewal strategies, client retention, problem solving, and overall account management and client satisfaction.
  • Provides technical expertise and strategic guidance and assistance to sales staff.
  • Develops and/or leads various insurance topic training sessions for associates across all markets.
  • Participates in cross-selling new lines of coverage or services on existing accounts.
  • Follows up on accounts receivable items in accordance with IMA Accounts Receivable Policy.
  • Attends education classes in combination with individual study programs to expand technical coverage knowledge.
