About The Position

Bright!Tax is hiring a Client Engagement Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for all prospective clients. This role involves triaging and routing inbound inquiries from various channels (email, website, voicemail, chat), qualifying leads, and in some cases, closing deals directly. Additionally, the specialist will manage the global referral network, conduct voice-of-the-client outreach to gather feedback, and provide valuable insights to the Marketing and Client Success teams to inform sales strategies and service improvements. The role requires working with volume, ambiguity, and exercising judgment, with tasks varying daily from routing inquiries to engaging with international referral partners and analyzing client feedback.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a client-facing role (sales, account management, customer success, or equivalent).
  • Strong written communication skills; emails should be warm, clear, and human.
  • Comfort with CRM systems; HubSpot fluency strongly preferred.
  • Availability for internal meetings during morning US EST business hours.
  • Willingness to quickly learn US expat tax fundamentals for confident triage and qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Triage and route all inbound inquiries from email, website chat, voicemail, and contact forms.
  • Capture client context cleanly in HubSpot and hand off to the appropriate team member.
  • Qualify leads by establishing client fit through async or live conversations.
  • Quote services directly when the situation is straightforward.
  • Own referral data, ensuring leads are tagged, attributed, and tracked.
  • Partner with the Client Engagement Manager on referral network growth.
  • Conduct regular feedback conversations with current clients.
  • Synthesize feedback and front-door interactions into themes for Marketing and Client Success.
  • Act as a connective tissue between Sales, Marketing, and Client Success teams.
