Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • Strong Excel skills and interest in further development.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent French and English, written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and quality work.
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to adapt quickly to diverse business contexts.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Initiative, autonomy, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Integrity, discernment, interpersonal skills.
  • Strong team spirit and sense of humor.
  • Interested in compensation trends, have a strong business acumen, and want to be at the forefront of this field.
  • Possess mathematical, statistical, financial, and writing skills.
  • Interest in consulting and enjoy working on diverse projects (identifying client needs and solutions, conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of alternatives, communicating results and their impact, and developing client relationships).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to determine comparison group characteristics based on industry, size, and financial performance.
  • Make benchmark job matching as part of market positioning analyses.
  • Compile, analyze, and summarize financial and/or compensation data.
  • Participate in the creation of job evaluation tools and the development of salary structures.
  • Assess financial and human impacts of proposed compensation structures.
  • Contribute to pay equity mandates.
  • Assist in the development of incentive plans and financial simulations.
  • Draft clear reports to support client decision-making.
  • Participate in compensation surveys to assess competitive market positioning.
