About The Position

WINGS Recovery is hiring for Client Care Technicians in Carlsbad, CA. This position will work within our (Women's Residential Program at Wings). The Client Care Technician is responsible for providing direct service to clients, and for facilitating the smooth day-to-day operation of the program. The Client Care Technician collaborates as a member of the multidisciplinary team (Treatment Team) to deliver effective treatment. Our Client Care Technicians work directly with the clients through interaction, daily routines, checking vitals, and distributing their daily meds.

Requirements

• Attainment of at least 18 years of age.
• High School graduate or possess a GED.
• One year full-time experience working directly with clients in a program serving people with mental illness.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and personal automobile insurance.
• Hiring is contingent upon receiving DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance or an exemption, a submission of a signed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508), a TB test, and clearance on an employment physical.

Nice To Haves

• Coursework in counseling, psychology, or social work preferred.
• Experience in any type of recovery environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of medications and interventions preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is preferred prior to employment.
