Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience; veterinary reception experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy
  • Confidence managing high call volume while balancing multiple priorities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and collaborative, team-first mindset
  • Passion for building lasting relationships with clients and providing exceptional service

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Avimark or other veterinary practice management software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
  • Answer phones, emails, and text messages while providing exceptional customer service
  • Schedule appointments and help coordinate an efficient daily workflow
  • Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient records
  • Process invoices, collect payments, and review estimates with clients
  • Educate clients about hospital services, preventive care, and next steps
  • Help prioritize urgent scheduling needs while maintaining a calm, organized front desk
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area
  • Collaborate with doctors and teammates to provide an outstanding client experience
