About The Position

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), founded in 1987, is the largest specialized provider of HIV/AIDS medical care in the nation, with a mission to provide cutting-edge medicine and advocacy regardless of ability to pay. AHF provides access to the latest HIV treatments through its healthcare centers, pharmacies, health plan, research, and other activities. A Client Care Specialist 2 (CCS2) contributes to AHF by presenting a friendly, helpful face to members seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment in Wellness Clinics/Programs. This is a hybrid role providing courteous, confidential, and professional support to members within wellness programs. A CCS2 enhances the reputation of AHF by embodying its commitment to excellence in patient care, patient retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability. With a versatile skill set and dedication to seamlessly transitioning between clinical, administrative, and front office roles, CCS2s contribute to a positive experience, fostering trust and loyalty. They will be passionate advocates for AHF's top initiatives. To be successful, it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The CCS2 will work as part of a close-knit team to focus on comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Valid Phlebotomy license or MA certificate

  • Collecting medical histories
  • Managing tests/screenings
  • Recording vitals
  • Addressing health complaints
  • Facilitating patient registration
  • Managing appointments
  • Creating electronic charts
  • Proficiently documenting data, including referrals and reports
  • Performing venipuncture and sample collection, including blood and other specimens
  • Preparing samples for laboratory analysis
