A Client Care Specialist 2 (CCS2) at AHF is a hybrid role that contributes by providing friendly, helpful, courteous, confidential, and professional support to members seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment in Wellness Clinics/Programs. This role enhances AHF's reputation through excellence in patient care, patient retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability. CCS2s are expected to embody AHF Core Values and Mission, adapt in a dynamic environment, and work collaboratively within a close-knit team focusing on comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Valid Phlebotomy license or MA certificate

Responsibilities

  • Presenting a friendly, helpful face to members seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment in Wellness Clinics/Programs
  • Providing courteous, confidential, and professional support to members within wellness programs
  • Embodying AHF's commitment to excellence in patient care, patient retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability
  • Seamlessly transitioning between clinical, administrative, and front office roles
  • Being a passionate advocate for top initiatives

  • Working as part of a close-knit team to focus on comprehensive patient care
  • Collecting medical histories
  • Managing tests/screenings
  • Recording vitals
  • Addressing health complaints
  • Facilitating patient registration
  • Facilitating appointment management
  • Facilitating electronic chart creation
  • Proficiently documenting data, including referrals and reports
  • Performing venipuncture and sample collection, including blood and other specimens
  • Preparing specimens for laboratory analysis
