About The Position

West Seattle Animal Hospital is looking for an exceptional Client Care Receptionist to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys companion animals, but whose real superpower is working with people. While this is not a hands-on animal-care position, our Client Care Receptionists are essential members of the veterinary team. You’ll be one of the first people our clients interact with and one of the last they see before heading home. From answering phones and coordinating appointments to supporting clients during stressful situations, you’ll play an important role in creating a warm, professional, and positive hospital experience. We’re looking for someone who can provide exceptional customer service while staying organized and composed in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • A self-motivated approach and willingness to take initiative
  • Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional during busy or emotional situations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Dependability and punctuality
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
