About The Position

TravisMathew is a premium apparel brand inspired by Southern California and focused on lifestyle performance apparel. The Client Associate maintains the in-store sales and service experience and promotes a sales culture to help the retail store achieve or exceed sales, key performance indicator (KPI), and profitability goals. The role is based in a retail store and includes ongoing movement during working hours. This is a seasonal position at Old Orchard in Skokie, Illinois.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a client-services-related capacity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions independently or escalate when applicable.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, reach, and move continually during working hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide approachable and efficient sales and service on the sales floor to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional service.
• Connect with in-store clients and develop and retain repeat clients to drive individual sales goals.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of each season’s apparel, including fit, fabric, and intended use.
• Participate in in-store events, marketing initiatives, and customer relationship management (CRM) activities to drive and reward repeat business.
• Follow client service standards and company policies and procedures.
• Foster a friendly, open, and inviting environment for in-store guests.
• Promote a work environment focused on teamwork and productivity.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including the front of house and stock space.
