Reporting to the Assistant Agro Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following: • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach. • Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels. • Come to work with a positive and professional attitude and approach. • Be dependable for all shifts. • Provide over the counter sales of feed, agricultural parts, supplies, fuel, and lubricants. • Telephone answering and traffic direction with referral to appropriate members of the sales team. • Assist with the receiving, operation till systems, conducting inventory counts and merchandising of all related products. • Communicate effectively with store leadership, file maintenance, and yard clerks. • Operation of forklift and skid steer. • Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures. • Perform all other duties as assigned. You are looking for a career in Agriculture and Customer Service: • You have a passion for retail sales and all aspects of the agricultural industry. • You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision. • You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do. • You have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment. • You must have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements; you can lift 50lbs as needed, service counter environment with some exposure to shop and warehouse areas. • You possess a strong work ethic, understand the concept of “full service,” and are willing to work additional hours during seasonal peaks. • You are willing and able to achieve WHMIS and TDG certifications. • You carry a Valid Class 5 Drivers license.
