Clerk - 2nd Shift - Clayton, IN
About The Position
The Clerk helps ensure warehouse operations run smoothly by processing orders, maintaining inventory information, entering data, researching and correcting transaction errors, and handling shipping documents. The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to read, understand, and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents in English. This position is based in Clayton, Indiana, and works the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The work involves a warehouse environment that may be hot or cold and requires lifting, bending, standing, sitting, walking, and handling equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to speak, read fine print, and write in English, including reading, understanding, and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
- Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of warehouse experience.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed.
- Experience entering and maintaining information in a WMS.
Responsibilities
