About The Position

Join The Oregon Clinic as a full-time Clerk - Refund, Cash & Credits. This position will be 100% on-site and involves working alongside a collaborative team in the Central Administration office. Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year of previous Medical Office or Clerk experience is strongly preferred.
Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) EPIC experience is preferred.
OnBase Scanning experience is preferred.
Advanced organizational and attention to detail skills.
Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
Excellent attendance and work ethic.
Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians and other team members.
A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Responsibilities

Reviewing and dispersing lockbox correspondence and providing regular back-up coverage for the central front desk (about 8-9 hours per week).
Assist with the returned refund check process, occasionally call payers to track down missing EOBs, and help with weekly deposits.
Ensures medical documents are organized, accurate, and complete.
Manages correspondence and returned checks in a timely manner within 7 days of printing or request.
Supports the refunds team by matching documentation with checks and mailing them out within 2 business days.
Updating records as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
