About The Position

Join The Oregon Clinic as a full-time Clerk - Refund, Cash & Credits. This position will be 100% on-site and involves working alongside a collaborative team in the Central Administration office. The role contributes to the mission of delivering world-class care with kindness and empathy by ensuring patients receive the highest value care tailored to their needs. This is achieved through providing patients and stakeholders with a consistent, efficient, and easy experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one (1) year of previous Medical Office or Clerk experience is strongly preferred.
  • Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) EPIC experience is preferred.
  • OnBase Scanning experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and dispersing lockbox correspondence.
  • Providing regular back-up coverage for the central front desk (about 8-9 hours per week).
  • Assisting with the returned refund check process.
  • Occasionally calling payers to track down missing EOBs.
  • Helping with weekly deposits.
  • Ensuring medical documents are organized, accurate, and complete.
  • Managing correspondence and returned checks in a timely manner within 7 days of printing or request.
  • Supporting the refunds team by matching documentation with checks and mailing them out within 2 business days.
  • Updating records as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
