About The Position

This is a temporary, full-time position for a Summer Student Clerk in Labour Relations. The role involves providing clerical and administrative support to Human Resources functions, specifically within Labour Relations, and acting as a first point of contact. The position also entails performing day-to-day operations for the Human Resources department and participating in and helping to coordinate recruitment initiatives. The position is for 70 hours per pay period, totaling up to 280 hours.

Requirements

  • Completion of high school diploma and on-going post-secondary education in Human Resources or Administration
  • Fluent in French and English (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement).
  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 30 (inclusive)
  • Canadian citizen, permanent resident or refugee
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must be eligible to get a satisfactory police record check (Level 2)

Responsibilities

  • Providing clerical and administrative support to one or more functions of the Human Resources, more specifically related to Labour Relations, while acting as a first point of contact.
