About The Position

The Clerk II supports warehouse operations by handling materials and completing packaging, routing, and systems work accurately and promptly. The position follows established procedures, promotes safe work practices, participates in Lean warehousing activities, and takes part in stand-up activities with cross-functional teams.

The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 6:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., with Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off. The role involves physical warehouse work, including lifting, bending, standing or walking for extended periods, handling equipment, and working in hot or cold warehouse environments.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and more than 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Ability to adjust focus and demonstrate close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, and other equipment.
• Complete packaging, routing, and systems work quickly and accurately.
• Participate in and guide the team in the Lean warehousing system on the floor.
• Complete tasks by following established procedures.
• Ensure all work is performed safely.
• Participate in stand-up activities with cross-functional teams.
