About The Position

As a Clerk II at GXO, you will support warehouse operations and help provide supply chain solutions to customers. The role requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail to ensure operations run smoothly. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM. GXO describes itself as a global provider of supply chain solutions, using technology and services to help customers manage goods efficiently. Employees may occasionally be asked to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities. Applicants who receive a conditional offer may be required to pass a pre-employment drug test. Employees and visitors are expected to follow GXO’s COVID-safety policies and applicable CDC, OSHA, state, and local requirements.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
Experience operating material handling equipment and using a handheld scanner.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and more than 75 pounds occasionally.
Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods.
Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
Ability to adjust focus and demonstrate close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.
Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed.
Two years of experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Responsibilities

Load and unload material using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, and other equipment.
Complete packaging, routing, and systems work quickly and accurately.
Participate in and guide the team in the Lean warehousing system on the floor.
Complete tasks by following established procedures.
Ensure work is performed safely.
Participate in stand-up activities with cross-functional teams.
