About The Position

As a Clerk II at GXO, you will help keep warehouse operations running smoothly and support the delivery of supply chain solutions to customers. The role involves handling materials, completing packaging, routing, and systems work accurately and promptly, following established procedures, and working safely. You will also participate in and guide team members in the Lean warehousing system and join stand-up activities with cross-functional teams.

The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The position requires the ability to work in hot or cold warehouse environments and meet the physical demands described in the posting. GXO may require applicants who receive a conditional offer to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating material handling equipment and using a handheld scanner.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and more than 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Ability to adjust focus and demonstrate close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed.
• Two years of experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, and other equipment.
• Complete packaging, routing, and systems work quickly and accurately.
• Participate in and guide the team in the Lean warehousing system on the floor.
• Complete tasks according to established procedures.
• Ensure all work is performed safely.
• Participate in stand-up activities with cross-functional teams.
