About The Position

The Receptionist is responsible for presenting a positive first impression of the company to all visitors and vendors; directing customers to the appropriate corporate office staff member; answering general questions from visitors entering the building. This position is based in our office located in Scarborough, ME. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Requirements

  • Up to 2 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role.
  • Strong communication, grammar, organizational, and computer skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach when interacting with visitors, associates, and external partners.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all visitors, associates, and vendors, in a warm and inviting manner
  • Ensure all messages are relayed promptly to the intended person
  • Screen incoming calls in a warm, pleasant, and professional manner
  • Respond to inquiries and direct callers to the appropriate departments
  • Manage conference rooms schedule requests
  • Maintain and organize lobby area
  • Answer and respond to internal requests to reception as needed
  • Submit IT requests to extend badge access for vendors and contractors
  • Responsible to assign badges to visitors and vendors for security purposes in security’s absence
  • Other general administrative tasks as needed
