About The Position

This is a full-time Clerk Cashier position located at the Yorkton Food Store, with a focus on back-end duties. The role involves delivering legendary service to make all guests feel welcome. Responsibilities include stocking and facing products, general food store duties such as housekeeping and opening/closing procedures, processing transactions through the Point-of-Sale system (including tobacco and lottery sales), and picking, packing, and delivering groceries within town limits using a company van.

Requirements

• Willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, holidays and weekends

• Physically able to do heavy lifting of 50 lbs, climb ladders and kneel

Responsibilities

• Stock and face products within the store
• General Food Store Duties – housekeeping, opening, closing
• Cashiering – processing transactions through the Point-of-Sale system including tobacco and lottery sales
• Delivering Groceries – Picking, Packing and Operating a company van to deliver groceries within town limits
