About The Position

Under direct supervision, this role is responsible for processing Lot Coding for all sales items shipping out daily. This involves communicating with the Shipping supervisor to provide required item Lot information on all incoming orders ready for shipping, and with BAKEMARK affiliates as assigned. The position also includes downloading PSP orders into the NDS system after review and correction of the ROE Edit List, manually entering orders when necessary, reviewing and correcting the Order File Status Report, and transferring order files for routing. Additionally, the role involves notifying customers or sales reps of customer item “outs”, ensuring COAs and Spec Sheets are provided to customers, answering the telephone and directing calls, assisting with receiving scheduling, and communicating with the Receiving Supervisor. The position requires researching customer, Sales Rep, and BAKEMARK Affiliate inquiries, backing up the Will-Call position and other positions as directed by the Supervisor, supporting and assisting warehouse staff as needed, and filing documents. The Clerk will also assist the Shipping Supervisor and Operations Manager with back-office duties. The role emphasizes treating all customers with dignity and respect and adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety rules. Other duties may be assigned to meet company goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Split shift hours: starting time 12:00 Noon - 8:30 pm, or until orders are completed for shipping.
  • OT hours are required for this position as needed.
