About The Position

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for efficiently managing accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to vendors, and maintaining financial records.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least 1 year of Accounting or Accounts Payable experience

Responsibilities

  • Reviews invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Enter invoices into the system and set up specific check disbursements.
  • Ensure payments are made on time and accurately.
  • Keep organized and accurate back up records for future reference and audit information.
  • Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies or issues.
  • Ensure proper Sales / Use tax is paid/applied.
  • Preparing and mailing out the 1099s.
  • Other duties as assigned.
