The Clerk 4-Data Quality is responsible and accountable for ensuring data quality of the electronic patient information health records system. The incumbent will identify data quality issues; conduct audits and review regularly scheduled reports, in order to process duplicates and overlaps in the Master Patient Index; retrieve, file and merge patient charts; correct complex registration errors; maintain a tracking log of duplicates and overlaps processed. The Clerk 4 is responsible for ensuring the established protocol for proactive auditing is being met to maintain compliance with the law. The Clerk 4 also acts as a subject matter expert in patient registration transactions and will assist in the testing, maintenance, and rollout of new health information systems. The Clerk will maintain and promote the confidentiality and security of personal health information at all times.
