About The Position

The Clerical Associate supports daily operations in the new 18-bed, high-acuity Surgical Trauma Transition Unit (STTU) at Deaconess Midtown, scheduled to open in early 2027. The unit bridges intensive care and recovery and provides a blend of stepdown, ICU, and medical-surgical care for surgical, trauma, vascular, and complex medical patients.

The role provides administrative support to nurses, physicians, and other care team members by coordinating communication, maintaining accurate information, and supporting daily workflow. The Clerical Associate helps establish workflows and team connections in a newly opened unit and contributes to an organized, supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.
