About The Position
The Registered Nurse will join the new 18-bed Surgical Trauma Transition Unit (STTU) at Deaconess Midtown, which is scheduled to open in early 2027. This high-acuity unit bridges intensive care and recovery, combining Stepdown, ICU, and Medical-Surgical care. Nurses care for surgical, trauma, vascular, and complex medical patients across multiple levels of acuity, while developing critical care knowledge and ICU-level competencies. The role works alongside experienced surgical, trauma, and critical care teams and offers the opportunity to help shape the culture of a new unit.
Requirements
- Active Indiana RN license or valid compact RN license.
