About The Position

Quality Staffing, Inc., also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search, a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area's top companies, is looking for experienced Administrative Services Assistants/Clerical Assistants to work through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee Department of Human Services (TN DHS) located in Nashville, TN. This is an on-site position working from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday for a total of 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $14.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint & Word).
Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-directed and able to work without supervision.
Solid time management skills; able to prioritize.

Nice To Haves

associate's degree or bachelor's degree in business related field preferred but not required.
Previous experience handling office responsibilities or experience in customer service preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare correspondence, documentation, and other materials.
Maintain and update files and databases.
Answer phone calls and transfer calls to the appropriate party.
Receive mail and packages from USPS, FedEx, UPS, and couriers; deliver mail to the proper recipient.
Take detailed notes during meetings or type/transcribe and edit memos and notes provided from meetings.
Organize meeting schedules.
Prepare travel arrangements.
Schedule appointments and conferences.
Prepare paper copies, faxes, and other documentation.
Order, purchase, and invoice company office supplies.
Prepare mailings and packages for delivery.
Maintain files containing confidential information.
Photocopy and fax as needed.
