This position supports document preparation, scanning, and records handling for the Business Management Division within the Southcentral Regional Office. Through your work, you will help to maintain accurate and well-organized digital files that support the agency’s daily operations. As a Clerical Assistant 1, you will perform the following duties: Document Preparation: Organize files for scanning by removing bindings and arranging pages in proper order Scanning Operation: Use high-speed and large format scanners to convert paper documents into digital files Accuracy Review: Verify scanned documents for completeness and accuracy before submitting them for workflow review Data Entry: Enter information into electronic systems while following required data quality standards Call Screening: Route incoming calls to the correct staff members and take messages as needed Work Area Maintenance: Maintain an organized work area and operate office equipment used for records management.
