Summer Internship Program 2027 - Clearing Analyst Intern
About The Position
The Clearing Analyst Intern will support day-to-day clearinghouse operations and treasury processing as part of the ICE Internship Program. The program combines hands-on work on business projects with career and professional development. Interns participate in weekly sessions led by industry leaders, connect with fellow interns, and learn about the financial services, technology, and mortgage industries. The internship is full-time, five days a week, at ICE’s New York (11 Wall Street) office for the entire duration of one of the designated program schedules. Candidates must choose between May 24, 2027–August 6, 2027, and June 7, 2027–August 20, 2027. Partial participation and alternate dates cannot be accommodated. The expected hourly rate for New York candidates is $25.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university and advancing to at least the junior year of study.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Must be available to work full-time, five days a week, at the New York (11 Wall Street) office for the full duration of one designated program schedule.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with programming languages such as VBA, Python, Java, SQL, or PL/SQL, or data analytics tools such as Tableau or Business Objects.
Responsibilities
- Ensure clearinghouse daily processes run smoothly, including position transfers, publishing open interest, new user creations, and monitoring member reporting submissions.
- Monitor the smooth functioning of clearing member-facing systems.
- Interact daily with Treasury and Risk to monitor and support daily clearinghouse processes.
- Perform additional duties and contribute to projects as assigned.
