About The Position

We're looking for Cleanroom Technicians at multiple experience levels to join a tight-knit team building complex assemblies for some of the most demanding applications in the industry. This role involves hands-on, high-skill work, performing mechanical and electrical assembly, plumbing, plastic welding, and fusion work on precision components built to exact engineering specifications. Whether you're earlier in your manufacturing career or a seasoned technician, there's a place for you here, with compensation and responsibilities matched to your experience level. The position is located in the Greater Portland Area (Tigard) and is a full-time, temporary-to-hire role with multiple shifts available.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings in inch and metric dimensions
  • Ability to read Bills of Materials
  • Familiarity with plastics including WPP, NPP, PVC, FRPP, PE, Polycarbonate, CPVC, PVDF, and FM4910 materials (level of familiarity may vary)
  • Comfort with hand tools and electric tools relevant to assembly, plumbing, and plastic fabrication work
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Cleanroom experience is a plus at any level

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, stainless steel and Teflon plumbing, electrical wiring, and plastic welding/fusion at a level appropriate to your experience
  • Read and build to engineering drawings; label to print
  • Follow test procedures, identify and correct problems, and document test data
  • Communicate issues related to work orders, drawings, part shortages, and errors
  • Accurately record job tracking data and maintain cleanroom gowning and safety standards
  • Develop test procedures, write work instructions, and train other technicians (senior-level candidates)
