Cleanroom Technician
About The Position
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned. Perform janitorial duties, operate motorized cleaning equipment, and maintain daily upkeep of assigned areas. This role requires reporting incidents and hazardous conditions to a supervisor, complying with safety rules, and performing work assignments collaboratively with team members. The position involves performing repetitive tasks, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules. Additionally, the technician will take direction, respond to supervision, communicate professionally with colleagues and customers, fill in during staff shortages, support shift leads, use proper personal protective equipment, and present a professional appearance and conduct. Understanding customer service, satisfaction, and reporting systems are also key aspects of this role.
Requirements
- No specific education requirement
- 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- May be required to have a valid driver’s license
- Completed all safety and task training certification
- May be required to be forklift certified
- Bilingual a plus
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
