About The Position

UniClean, a specialized division of UniFirst Corporation, provides cleanroom cleaning and garment services to the pharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, electronics, and other controlled environment industries. Our specialized services help customers maintain the strict cleanliness and contamination-control standards required in these critical environments. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Cleanroom Services Supervisor to provide day-to-day leadership for cleanroom services within assigned customer locations. In this role, you’ll lead and support Cleanroom Cleaners, coordinate daily work, and help ensure services are performed according to customer procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements, and UniClean standards. You’ll also serve as a key point of contact for customers within assigned locations and be responsible for team performance, training, scheduling, documentation, and compliance.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Able to read, understand, and interpret detailed written procedures in English.
Able to communicate clearly and professionally with Team Partners, leaders, and customer representatives.
Able to accurately document and report operational or compliance-related issues.
Comfortable working in controlled environments and wearing required cleanroom garments and personal protective equipment when needed.
Committed to quality, safety, compliance, and following established procedures.
Follow all applicable Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements and reinforce compliance across the team.
Ensure Team Partners follow established procedures, training, and documentation requirements.
Maintain data integrity and ensure required documentation is accurate and completed at the appropriate time.
Ensure required training is completed individually and in accordance with established requirements.
Immediately address and escalate deviations from established procedures.
Reinforce compliance expectations without interpreting, changing, or deviating from customer procedures outside the defined scope.
Work in controlled environments requiring full cleanroom gowning when needed.
Stand and walk for extended periods while overseeing work within assigned customer locations.
Perform the physical activities necessary to work safely within cleanroom and controlled environments.
Follow specific cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and contamination-control requirements.

Nice To Haves

associate degree or higher preferred
2–4 years of experience in GMP, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or controlled-environment operations preferred.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across assigned building(s).
Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and supervise Cleanroom Cleaners, including scheduling, training, performance feedback, and day-to-day execution of work. Set clear expectations and support ongoing skill development.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily and on-demand cleaning activities in alignment with customer expectations and approved scope of work.
Ensure all cleaning and contamination-control activities are performed in strict accordance with customer procedures, GMP requirements, and established quality standards.
Maintain accountability for team compliance, including training completion and accuracy, proper documentation practices (GDP/ALCOA), gowning, controlled-environment behaviors, and adherence to established procedures. Address or immediately escalate deviations and compliance concerns.
Support the onboarding and qualification of new Cleanroom Cleaners, ensuring readiness for independent work and providing continued coaching and development.
Serve as the primary UniClean point of contact for assigned building(s), maintaining clear communication with customer representatives regarding scheduled work and operational needs.
Reinforce GMP behaviors, contamination-control practices, and a strong culture of quality, accountability, and continuous development across the team.
Escalate issues, risks, or scope-related concerns to UniClean management without interpreting or deviating from customer procedures. Assist with investigations related to contamination-control services and support implementation of corrective actions.
