About The Position
UniClean, a specialized division of UniFirst Corporation, provides cleanroom cleaning and garment services to the pharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, electronics, and other controlled environment industries. Our specialized services help customers maintain the strict cleanliness and contamination-control standards required in these critical environments. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented Cleanroom Cleaners to join our team. In this role, you’ll perform specialized cleaning in customer cleanrooms and controlled environments, following specific procedures to maintain required cleanliness standards. No cleanroom experience is required. Training is provided.
Requirements
- Dependable and punctual.
- Detail-oriented and able to follow established procedures.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and wearing required cleanroom garments.
- Committed to quality and safety.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English to follow work instructions, complete trainings, and safety requirements and communicate effectively with Team Partners, supervisors, and customers.
- Able to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and apply those skills using units of money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Bend, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Wear required cleanroom garments and personal protective equipment.
- Work in environments that may include wet and/or humid conditions.
- Follow specific cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and contamination-control requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial services, housekeeping, environmental services, or other hands-on work is a plus.
Responsibilities
