About The Position

Carl Zeiss X-ray Microscopy is seeking a Cleanroom Manufacturing Technician to build precision ultra-high-vacuum components and subassemblies used in advanced X-ray source production. The technician assembles, inspects, tests, troubleshoots, and improves high-precision vacuum, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical assemblies while following detailed procedures and cleanroom protocols. The role is based primarily in a Class 10K cleanroom and adjacent production and test areas in Dublin, California, and reports to the Production Line Manager. The position is assigned to swing shift. For the first three months, the schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; it then transitions to Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The annual pay range is $31.73 to $39.42. The role is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions.
