About The Position

The Cleaning Technician is responsible for keeping the Business Office and/or Dignity Health Training Facility in Tempe, Arizona, professional, clean, presentable, and inviting. The role performs cleaning, disinfecting, detailing, and maintenance functions throughout the building. This is an in-person, part-time, non-exempt position in Facility Operations. It works 8-hour shifts approximately 2–3 days per week, based on the NFL schedule and facility event calendar. Workdays may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays; typical start times are 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM. Starting in 2028, the position will be based at the new Arizona Cardinals Training Facility in north Phoenix, Arizona.

Requirements

At least one year of janitorial experience.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well with others.
Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
Represent the Arizona Cardinals in a professional and ethical manner.
Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity around professional athletes in their work environment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs and ladders, and maintain well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight hours.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Flexibility to work events, evenings, weekends, and holidays; hours may vary based on business needs.
Complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check.
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or takeover of sponsorship is unavailable.

Responsibilities

Dispose of trash and waste and re-line bins as needed.
Clean interior and exterior building entrance areas.
Dust and wipe railings, door handles, tables, furniture, partitions, walls, and other surfaces.
Clean glass cases, mirrors, and windows.
Disinfect facility touch points.
Vacuum, clean, and shampoo carpeted areas.
Sweep and mop hard-surface flooring.
Clean and vacuum elevators and tracks.
Replenish bathroom supplies, including toilet tissue, seat covers, paper towels, soap, and hand sanitizer.
Polish chrome and stainless-steel fixtures and touch points.
Deep-clean bathrooms, the café, and other public areas.
Maintain equipment and storage areas in good working condition.
Respond to spills and other hazards that may cause injury to people or property.
Perform additional duties or projects as assigned.
