About The Position

The Cleaning Technician is responsible for keeping the Arizona Cardinals’ Business Office and/or Dignity Health Training Facility in Tempe, Arizona, professional, clean, presentable, and inviting through routine cleaning and maintenance. The role performs cleaning, disinfecting, detailing, and building maintenance functions. Starting in 2028, the position will be based at the new Arizona Cardinals Training Facility in north Phoenix, Arizona. This is an in-person, part-time, non-exempt position. The schedule consists of 8-hour shifts approximately 2–3 days per week, based on the NFL schedule and facility event calendar. Workdays may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Typical shifts begin at 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM, depending on team schedules and operational needs. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

At least one year of janitorial experience.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
Represent the Arizona Cardinals professionally and ethically.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity around professional athletes in their work environment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, use stairs and ladders, and maintain well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight hours.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Flexibility to work events and evenings, weekends, and holidays; hours may vary with business needs.
Complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check.
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; the employer cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of student or employment visas.

Responsibilities

Dispose of trash and waste and re-line trash bins as needed.
Clean interior and exterior building entrance areas.
Dust and wipe railings, door handles, tables, furniture, partitions, walls, and similar surfaces.
Clean glass cases, mirrors, and windows.
Disinfect touch points throughout the facility.
Vacuum, clean, and shampoo carpeted areas.
Sweep and mop hard-surface flooring.
Clean and vacuum elevators and elevator tracks.
Replenish bathroom supplies, including toilet tissue, seat covers, paper towels, soap, and hand sanitizer.
Polish chrome and stainless-steel fixtures and touch points.
Deep-clean bathrooms, the café, and other public areas.
Maintain equipment and storage areas in good working condition.
Respond to spills and other hazards that could cause injury to people or damage to property.
Perform additional duties or projects as assigned.
