Requirements

Reports to work each day and on time.
Works extra hours when needed.
Complies with proper safety policies and procedures (e.g., using cleaning chemicals, reporting incidents).
Determines the neatness, accuracy, and thoroughness of assigned work.
Must be able to wear a mask and gloves during the entirety of their shift if working in medical facilities.

Nice To Haves

Experience in commercial cleaning.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Maintaining the cleanliness of the building by performing various cleaning duties.
Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, including sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors, and replenishing supplies.
Polishing metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
Performing other floor work such as scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
Cleaning and disinfecting break rooms/kitchenettes, including sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, and refrigerators, and replenishing supplies.
Dusting furniture, equipment, and partitions.
Emptying wastebaskets and recyclables and transporting them to the disposal area.
Cleaning rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
Washing walls and woodwork.
Washing windows, door panels, partitions, and sills.
