About The Position

As a Cleaning Operative at OCS, you will help provide safe, clean environments for customers in their workspaces. The role involves hands-on cleaning and tidying tasks, including cleaning floors and communal areas, vacuuming carpeted areas where scheduled, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins, and potentially cleaning washrooms. The work may involve standing for periods of time. Where cleaning takes place in open public spaces during the day or night, you may regularly interact with customers and should assist with cleaning-related queries or reported incidents and issues. You must complete relevant Health & Safety records and attend training when required. A smartphone is required to use the Timegate Time and Attendance system to clock in and out onsite and may be needed for recording cleaning tasks and other duties. Cleaning experience is advantageous, but full training is provided.

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have a smartphone to use the Timegate Time and Attendance system and app.
• Pay attention to detail and complete tasks thoroughly.

Responsibilities

• Tidy work areas and clean floors and communal areas.
• Vacuum carpeted areas where onsite cleaning is scheduled.
• Sweep and mop floors as required.
• Empty bins and potentially clean washrooms.
• Assist customers with cleaning-related queries and reported incidents or issues when working in public spaces.
• Complete relevant Health & Safety records.
• Attend training courses when required.
• Use the Timegate app to clock in and out and, where allocated, record cleaning tasks and other duties.
