About The Position

The main purpose of the Cleaning and Environmental Technician is to execute Cleaning and Environmental project work assignments inland and offshore. This position is On Call, working nights, weekends and holidays is a requirement. Gulf Island will not sponsor applications for work visas. Additionally, applicants for employment with Gulf Island must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Requirements

2+ years offshore experience
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Valid Driver's License
Must be able to pass MVR check
Must be able to pass T-Huet (Water Survival Training)
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
Must be able to pass a background check
Must have Valid TWIC card
Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing, talking, hearing and seeing
Turning, twisting and bending
Pushing, pulling and reaching
Must be able to lift and/or move 25-50 pounds
