About The Position

The Part-Time Weekend Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized Marshalls store environment, with a focus on floor care. The role includes operating floor-cleaning equipment and cleaning floors, glass, and windows. The Cleaner also supports store operations by maintaining cleanliness and recovery standards throughout the store, assisting in other areas as needed, and following customer experience, merchandising, safety, labor, and loss prevention standards. The position is based at Marshalls Store 0403 in Kennesaw, Georgia. The starting pay range is USD $13.25 to $13.75 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Some benefits are available only to associates who meet service or hours requirements, and all benefits are subject to applicable plan terms and may change.

Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate a floor buffer and scrubber.

Responsibilities

Operate scrubber and buffer and perform dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning of glass and windows.
Maintain floor care cleanliness standards, including maintenance and operation of the scrubber and buffer.
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards throughout the store, including the Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms.
Follow company Health and Safety policies, including refilling essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End.
Cross-train and work in other store areas, including the Backroom, Front End, and Sales Floor, to support business needs.
Support and respond to Front End coverage needs.
Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Uphold the company merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Follow operational and loss prevention controls and company policies, including shrink-reduction guidelines.
Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
Follow labor laws and company policies and procedures, including Associate meal and break-period policies.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
